ENTRY FORMALITIES
Check your passport
Passport valid at least 6 months after the return date. This is the only document you provide for the visa: everything else is handled by MKR.
Russian visa handled
Consular fees included in the package. Whether you go to Dagestan (Wrestling) or Chechnya (MMA), MKR provides the EU questionnaire, the official invitation letter and supports your file from start to finish. Allow 3 to 4 weeks of processing.
MKR invitation letter
MKR sends the official invitation letter as soon as your application is confirmed. It is the central document of the visa file.
Documents to bring
Passport, Russian visa, MKR booking confirmation, insurance certificate, international round-trip ticket you booked to Istanbul. MKR issues the Istanbul-Caucasus domestic flight.

HOW TO GET THERE
All routes go through Istanbul. The Istanbul-Makhachkala (MCX) domestic flight for Wrestling in Dagestan or Istanbul-Grozny (GRV) for MMA in Chechnya is included in the MKR package. The international flight to Istanbul is on your end: you pick your airline, your departure airport and your class based on your budget.

When booking, aim for a flight landing in Istanbul (IST or SAW) at least 4 hours before your domestic flight. MKR confirms the domestic flight schedule as soon as your application is approved. Application less than 30 days before departure : an MKR surcharge applies for express handling of the file (visa, logistics, domestic ticket).
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is mandatory to take part in the camp. It must cover:
- Medical repatriation
- Contact sports practice (MMA, wrestling)
- Medical expenses abroad
- Civil liability

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
The airport transfer is included in the package. An MKR vehicle is waiting for you on arrival. Airport to camp drive is about 1h30 from Makhachkala (Dagestan, Wrestling camp) or about 30 minutes from Grozny (Chechnya, MMA camp). All travel during the camp is covered.

Language
Russian is primary. Avar in Dagestan, Chechen/Vainakh in Chechnya depending on the gym. French-speaking MKR interpreter on site.

Caucasian cuisine: rich in protein, meat, vegetables, bread. Diet suited to athletes.
