A republic of the Russian Caucasus, Dagestan is a land of mountains and traditions. This is where wrestling has been passed from father to son for centuries. The mountain villages have produced more Olympic champions per capita than anywhere else on Earth.
Makhachkala, the capital, houses dozens of fight gyms where hundreds of international-level athletes train daily. These are the gyms MKR takes you to.

No empty talk. The reality on the ground in 2026: the region where the camp takes place is stable and frequented by athletes from around the world. The training cities (Makhachkala, Kaspiysk) are normal urban areas.
The French Foreign Ministry advises against certain border zones, not the urban areas where we operate. Each participant is briefed in detail before departure.
